Madre Terra is a laboratory founded in 2010 in Laterza, in the province of Taranto, from Maria Matera's passion for the art of ceramics.
Its products are reminiscent of the traditional majolica exhibited in numerous decorative art museums, as they are decorated by hand according to an ancient Laertina technique and have a characteristic turquoise colour. The decorations mostly represent elements of nature and reflect the right balance between creativity and tradition, adapting perfectly to both classic style and modern design environments.
Madre Terra's creations are designed for all rooms of the home and each customer can choose from a large variety of models or request their own unique, tailor-made piece.
